The Northern Ireland Customs & Trade Academy (NICTA) is a new online learning platform preparing firms for new processes involved in moving goods under the Northern Ireland Protocol that started on 1 January 2021.
Developed as part of the Trader Support Service (TSS), NICTA provides online training, webinars and ‘how-to’ guides to all those involved in trade between Northern Ireland and Great Britain.
All courses are accredited by the Chartered Institute of Export & International Trade, an Ofqual-awarding organisation with an 85-year track record of delivering training and qualifications.
As a registered charity and partner on the Queen’s Awards for Enterprise, the Chartered Institute's mission is to enhance the performance of importers and exporters.
Some 60,000 learners gain Chartered Institute qualifications or undertake training courses a year, through face-to-face or online classrooms and via one-to-one consultations.
Upon completion of a course, learners will receive a digital certificate confirming their achievement.
